Your rights and responsibilities

We strive to provide quality, affordable, appropriate and secure accommodation to our tenants, that provides them with dignity, safety, security, and a solid foundation for confidence in their future and their goals.
 
Your rights:
  • To be treated in a professional, courteous, and caring manner that respects and appreciates differences related to race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, personal values, age, disability, and economic or veteran status.
  • Respect for and protection of your personal privacy to the greatest extent permitted by law.
  • Choose to use or not to use our services.
  • Prompt and professional service.
  • Safe, quality accommodation
  • Accurate and relevant information, communicated in a timely manner.
  • Request transfer to another staff member.
  • Expect any complaint to be investigated appropriately and in confidence.
  • Read your records with an Alliance Housing representative in attendance.


Your responsibilities:
  • Be respectful of others, including your neighbours and Alliance Housing staff and volunteers.
  • Be respectful of Alliance Housing property.
  • Provide accurate information about yourself, including any changes in your circumstances.
  • Keep your Alliance property in good condition.
  • Keep up to date with your rent and financial obligations.

Alliance Housing is an independent and sustainable Community Housing Provider, working in conjunction with the residential tenancies act and priding ourselves on providing high quality housing services to our clients in the South West of Western Australia.
