Melfe has lived in the Bunbury region for the past 22 years, after relocating from the United States. She is a former Alliance Housing tenant and brings valuable lived experience to the Board, offering an authentic tenant perspective that supports informed and inclusive decision‑making.

Melfe has completed a Certificate IV in Community Services and a Certificate IV in Education Support, strengthening her community‑focused and people‑centred approach to governance. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and is actively involved in local sport. She has represented Bunbury in Indoor Beach Volleyball, achieving multiple titles, and more recently plays softball with the South West Mariners in Eaton.
