Tenant Engagement Overview

Alliance Housing exists to deliver social benefits for customers and the communities in which we operate, and it is only through the support of all sectors of our communities that we will succeed. We are therefore committed to developing and maintaining quality engagement and relationships with our tenants, community leaders, Government agencies, partner organisations and other stakeholders. Our approach to Community and Tenant engagement seeks to ensure we establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships to support our tenants, to assist the long-term sustainability of Alliance Housing and support our local communities.

Newsletter

Alliance Housings newsletter shares; updates about Alliance Housing properties and events, important information for tenants to be aware of, helpful articles around relevant topics, FREE upcoming community events and opportunities, as well as sharing the talents and successes of tenants where possible. We are always looking for more tenant contributions for the newsletter, so if you have something you would like to contribute (a short story, poetry, artwork or even a book or movie review), please contact us through admin@alliancehousing.com.au.

In the Community

We also strive to build positive relationships with community groups, support service providers and other community members who may be able to offer assistance or opportunities to tenants. It is important to remember that Alliance Housing is a housing provider and cannot offer specialised support, such as counselling/social workers, financial assistance, mental health support, addiction/recovery services, etc.

We encourage tenants to connect with existing organisations in the community who are able to offer these services. We have a list of support services, along with pamphlets at our office. Alternatively, you can speak to your Tenancy Officer about your needs and they may be able to refer you to a service.

Tenant Focus Groups

You have the opportunity to give feedback to Alliance Housing WA at tenant forum meetings and consultation groups we hold. These groups provide a way for you to share your ideas and give our staff feedback about our policies, procedures, strategy and service delivery.

Tenant survey

Every year Alliance Housing sends out a Tenant Survey. Although the survey is not compulsory we do ask tenants to complete the survey if possible as your feedback is a valuable way for us to improve our services and ensure we continue to meet the needs of our tenants. This is also an opportunity for you to win a prize! Tenants who complete and return their surveys by the due date are entered into a draw to win a prize.

Other feedback

Tenants and members of the public are able to engage with Alliance Housing through our feedback email address admin@alliancehousing.com.au, Alliance Housing social media and website, or by contacting the head office directly on (08) 9791 5438. For any tenancy matters or maintenance issues, we advise residents to contact their Tenancy Officer in the first instance.
