Work has officially begun on Alliance Housing’s latest development in Dalyellup which will make better use of land by having two homes on the one block.
Alliance Housing chief executive Kay Shaw said it was an exciting and innovative project.
“This pioneering project represents a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering a broader range of affordable housing options,” she said.
“This is our first ever dual-key housing project and will allow us to make better use of land and assist more people to get off the Department of Communities waiting list and into a home of their own.”
Alliance Housing appointed Country Builders at the end of last year to complete the project, after receiving funding through the WA State Government’s Community Housing Grants - New Build Program.
“This development is close to shops, parks, hospitals and schools and we look forward to seeing it unfold,” Ms Shaw said.
“The dual-key design will offer two distinct living spaces within a single property, catering to diverse needs such as multi-generational families or shared living arrangements.”
