Lyn really enjoys being outside and getting her hands dirty in the garden, unfortunately Lyn suffered from a stroke just before moving into her new unit, when she moved in she wanted something to do to keep busy which is why she decided to utilise some unused space in the garden to create a communal veggie garden for the enjoyment of the other tenants.

It took Lyn a week to prepare the garden bed to begin planting. There is currently tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, pumpkin, spring onions and carrots which have come along nicely. Lyn also intends to plant some peas and other vegetable varieties as the new seasons approach.

Lyn enjoys maintaining the garden as her own project and enjoys being able to give something from it to other tenants and visitors.
